Journal issues include the following sections:
We welcome proposals for the discussion of books on political, moral, legal, and social philosophy that are of relevance to the international debate. A Book Symposium contains an introduction by the symposium’ editor(s), 3 to 4 critical comments by scholars identified by the person proposing the symposium, and the book author's replies.
Proposals for a Book Symposium should be sent by the managing editor(s) and should contain the title, year of publication of the proposed book, and the list of potential contributors with bios and abstract. Further instructions regarding the length of commentaries and replies will be provided upon confirmation of acceptance. If accepted, all the contents of the Book Symposium will be subjected to (single) anonymous peer-review process.
The Journal, on occasion, publishes Special Sections which include papers coming from conferences, workshops of international relevance or linked to national and/or international funded research projects. Proposal of special sections (in English) should be sent by the editor(s) and should contain a brief description of the main contents of the special issue, possible conferences and/or projects connected to the research, the list of potential contributors with bios and abstracts. Proposals for a Special Section should be addressed to our managing editors. If accepted, all the contents of the Special Section will be subjected to (single) anonymous peer-review process.
The Editors welcome submissions in any area of political, moral, legal, and social philosophy. Analytical clarity, scientific originality and methodological rigor are essential requirements for the acceptance of papers. This section will publish Original Articles, Review Articles and Discussions. In this section, papers responding to ad hoc CFPs will be also included. Ad hoc CFPs on relevant topics of the contemporary debate in Social and Political Philosophy will be posted on the Journal website and relevant philosophy websites on a regular basis. All submissions should be sent in an anonymized format to our managing editors.
All submitted papers subjected to a rigorous peer-review process. This is based on an initial Editors’ screening, followed by a double (or triple, if needed) blind-review process. In case of desk rejection, a standard notification will be sent to authors by the board of editors.
