Guidelines to propose a Special Section

Proposals for a Special Section should be addressed to the managing editors at fqpppijournal@gmail.com and should include:

  • A concept note outlining the theme, scope, and scholarly relevance of the Special Section, including reference to any related conferences, workshops, or national/international research projects.
  • A list of proposed contributors, each accompanied by a short bio and a 200-word abstract of their planned contribution (if available)*.
  • Biographical notes on the editor(s) of the Special Section.

All contributions to the Special Section will undergo a single-blind peer-review, except for the introductions authored by the guest editor(s).

In the case of Special Sections, guest editors are not expected to manage the editorial workflow but are requested to provide a list of potential reviewers. The journal’s managing editors will oversee the editorial process.

*Although having a list of contributors and contributor abstracts at hand is ideal for the editors’ consideration, we welcome proposals at all stages of planning, as long as a concept note is available. Should the list of potential contributors and abstracts not yet be finalized, we still encourage prospective guest editors to contact the managing editors, who will be glad to offer guidance and help identify a suitable timeline and slot for the symposium.
